Too Fat for the Gym?

Meet Tiff. She started off her weight loss journey weighing 352 pounds. The top photo you see above is one she considers her 'wake up call'. In the last photo she weighs about 225. Though her plan for exercise initially was just to walk a lot, she decided to face her fear of joining a gym and went ahead and started working out regularly at her local community center. She's lost about 130 pounds so far! Check out her story at Project 365.

Wow she looks great! What an inspirational story! Thank you for sharing.
There's no such thing as too fat, and this is a perfect example.
She could have stayed at home and kept up her eating and exercise habits and end up living in shame for the rest of her life, but she decided to face her insecurities and become the woman she wanted
Thank you for sharing.
What an inspirational blog! I am looking to lose weight but have been mostly focusing on the best foods to eat to lose weight. I guess I need to address the exercise issue as well! Thanks.
This is a great story. It took a lot of courage for her to take such a huge step. Tiff has really put in some focused work. A loss of 130 lbs. does not happen by magic. I wish her much success and happiness.
Wonderful story. Tiff looks great! Having lost a lot of weight I know how great it feels to finally get rid of the weight and feel better.
wow! great work! she is such an inspiration!!!
I think it's so sad when people are embarrassed that they are too fat to go to a gym. Especially since I feel like most people would see the person and think "look at this person they are working hard to change their situation" and look at them in a positive, admiring, way rather than looking at them with shame. I'm glad this woman got over that insecurity and through that had amazing success! Go Tiff!
Congratulations Tiff!
I started my last pregnancy at Tiff's top weight and managed to gain 50lbs. :( It was so awful. In the past 17 months I'm down 127lbs to 255ish.
I'm more of a struggle at home kinda girl, I admire her for going to the gym. I never felt welcome.
