A Motivational Weight Loss Story Video

Ryan lost 135 pounds in 13 months with diet and exercise. He went from 308 pounds to 173.

Someone had told him he could change a habit in 21 days. Within 21 days he had lost 18 pounds. This motivated him to keep going. Within five months he lost 100 pounds. He gets up at 4:45am each morning to exercise. See his very motivational video here.
Check out his story at his website Ryan in Boise.

This is a very moving story. It is great to see someone so motivated. As an athlete I was always trained to believe that motivation comes from within, and this is a prime example of it.

Amazing job. Recently I started to really watch what I eat, and I completely cut out carbs after 5:30pm. That really worked, but I was losing focus on what I was putting into my body so I started using a food diary and it has really helped me out. It actually give me a little motivation by using it.

Thanks so much for this story, more people need to see this and understand what it means to truly motivate yourself to a better life. Great job, keep up the good work.

You're right, stories like this are very motivational. It's definitely hard to start exercising all of a sudden when you've never had to "work out" before...

Remarkable story!! You are such a "hero" for your family and a tremendous inspiration for anyone desiring to lose weight. I applaud your determination and follow-thru; I'm sure you're an even better man, father and husband for it. What a teachable moment that is for your children - to see you transform yourself to a healthy person - the focus and sacrifice and subsequent results!!What an example....WOW! To me that makes up for the "lost time" (your words). Nevetheless, again great job, much success and thank you for sharing your story and being such an inspiration!(:

Thank you so much for sharing your story. Hearing your success is so motivating! It made me think of this new show I've seen ads for, Heavy. I think the participants went to this weight loss spa Hilton Head Health to lose the weight. From the previews, H3 looks super pretty and the show looks hopeful. Maybe I'll watch that as I work out to keep me motivated! Thanks again Ryan!
